CLAFLIN, Jean Marie 'Hicks'
Born in Superior, WI., October 22, 1919, died September 26, 2012 in Sacramento, CA.
Jean married William Hugh Claflin June 1939. William preceded her in death in 1978. They moved from Wisconsin to Spokane, WA in 1941, then from Spokane to Sacramento in 1959. She was the office secretary and bookkeeper for the Tuesday Club of Sacramento for many years and a member of the Perk Club at Our Lady of Assumption for many years.
She is survived by her children, William Claflin, Patricia Swanson, Richard Claflin and Evonne LaPointe. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Two grandchildren have pre deceased her. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 5, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Church 1333 58th St. Inurnment, Calvary Cemetery.
