JACOBO, Arturo
Born June 2, 1933, in Mexico City, Mexico; passed away peacefully in Sacramento, CA on November 16, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his loving wife Dolores, and his sons Arturo Jr. (Monica) and Vicente, devoted grandfather to Victoria and Antonio. Loving brother to Abraham (Sandra), Lupe Ruiz (Enrique), Enrique (Blanca), Luis (Rachel) and numerous nieces, nephews and Godchildren. He is reunited in death with his father Abraham, brothers Raul (Irma), Jorge and most recently his mother Elvira. Arturo's passions were his family, his Catholic faith, and soccer. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Lions Club, and Mexican-American Hall of Fame for Soccer. A recitation of the Rosary is scheduled for Wednesday, November 28th at 6:00 pm at Andrews & Greilich, 3939 Fruitridge Road. A mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, November 29th at 9:30 AM at the Cathedral of Blessed Sacrament, 1017 11th Street, with burial to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Remembrance donations may be made to the Sutter Medical Oncology, 2800 L Street, #300, Sacramento, CA 95816.
