FREITAS, Erika K.
Feb 19, 1928 - Dec. 2, 2012
Erika passed away after fighting multiple myeloma at the age of 84. She was born and raised in Berlin, Germany. After World War II, She moved to Hawaii with her husband Bill. They moved to the San Francisco and Cupertino areas, where they lived a total of 31 years. She worked at Fireman Fund in S.F., then as an instructional aide for Los Altos High School; Teaching math, Spanish and German. She and Bill moved to Rocklin in the early 90's. She was preceded in death by her son William Freitas (1984);grandson, Jesse Vibert (2003) & granddaughter, Dawn Vibert (2007). She is survived by her husband of 64 yrs, Bill Freitas of Rocklin; her daughter Marianne Freitas of Oregon; siblings, Werner (Lottchen) Kaiser, Waltraud (Hansel) Buechner and Klaus (Doris) Kaiser of Berlin, Germany, Juergen (Ellen) Kaiser of San Jose, CA; brothers-in-law, Donald Freitas of Mountain View, CA and Francis Freitas of Manhattan Beach, CA and many beloved nieces, nephews; grand nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. The memorial service will be held at SS Peter and Paul Church, 4450 Granite Drive, Rocklin, CA on Saturday December 15 at 2 p.m., a reception will follow. In lieu of flowers the family asks that Memorials be made to Bristol Hospice or your local hospice.
