BURMOOD, Robyn Jilleen (Schuenemann)
Robyn Burmood, formerly Robin Butterworth was born on May 18, 1936 in Independence, Missouri, and went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2013 in Sacramento, California after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Robyn is survived by her adoring husband, Ken Burmood, her beloved daughters Suzie Schuenemann, Betsy Slavensky (Bill), Amy Slavensky (Mike), her devoted sons Mike Schuenemann, Benjamin Burmood; loving grandchildren Ryan Gardner (Jessica), Sarah & David Monte, Jane, Kate & Matt Slavensky; great grandson Ryder Gardner - all of California. Robyn's beloved parents John George Butterworth and Betty Moore Aston preceded her in death. Robyn passed away on her mother's birthday - significant in that she and her mom were very close and adored celebrating birthdays together. She never lost faith in Jesus Christ for salvation and healing, but rather testified of her trust in God to hospital personnel on a regular basis. She was a devoted mother, advocating and volunteering in their school & church experiences. Robyn had many creative talents such as poetry, composing music, sewing, drawing & painting. She loved autumn foliage, country music and rich desserts. Robyn loved and cherished her Lord, her family, her pets and her friends. A beautiful woman with a strong spirit and heart full of love, she will be dearly missed.
