Pauline Lecker passed away peacfully Feb 9, 2013. Pauline was born in Doncaster, Yorkshire, England, July 14, 1920. She came to the US in 1946 as a war bride. Pauline and her dear Joseph Lecker were married in April, 1946 until he passed away in Sacramento, Feb, 1971. She lived in Sacramento for over 40 years before moving to Portland, Oregon, in 2007 to be closer to family. In Sacramento, Pauline worked as a Program Technician for the State at Employment Development Department (EDD), Labor Market Information Division. She retired at age 79 in 1999. Pauline was also a dedicated Volunteer at both Kaiser and Sutter Hospitals. Pauline is survived by her three children, Rochelle (Bill) Anapolsky of So Calif , Sandra (Marc) Scholnick of Portland, OR, and Alan (Ellie) Lecker of New York, as well as her 4 grandchildren and 4 great grand daughters.
