JEFFERS, Betty A.
Betty was born May 10, 1938 in Santa Rosa, Missouri and died in Fair Oaks, CA on March 18, 2013. Cause of death was medical complication and effects of dementia.
She leaves husband Ron; son Nick Enfantino (Leslie) of Tumwater, Washington, sisters Barbara Checchi of Lakeport, California, Linda Campanaro of Tarpon Springs Florida; Step-daughters Denise VanAirsdale (Harold) and Brenda Ford (Mark) both of Stockton. She also leaves two nephews and three nieces. Betty was predeceased by her brother Donald Gault.
After living in Missouri, Kansas, and South Dakota her family moved to Patterson, California when she was in the 8th grade. She graduated from Patterson High School where she was very active in school functions and was a member of the California Scholarship Federation. She then attended Modesto Junior College. Soon after she started a career with Bank of America that lasted thirty six years. She moved to the Sacramento area in 1968 where she held several different positions of responsibility with the bank. She was a very dedicated and efficient employee and retired in 1996. After retirement some of the things she enjoyed were travel, especially going to the Carmel area, and being part of the Red Hat Society activities. She always very much enjoyed being with family and socializing with the Bank of America retiree group. She did these until dementia rendered it impossible for her to partake. Betty was a born again Christian and now is with The Lord.
