Sean was born December 24, 1975 in Sacramento, CA. He crossed the finish line into eternity on May 30, 2013. Sean learned everything at a young age. He was taught carpentry by his Father Glenn A. Ladd, and his Grandpa Glen S. Ladd, both deceased. He taught himself the other trades necessary to become a General Contractor. Sean started racing a quarter midget at 5 yrs. old with Grandpa Richard B. Thornton, (deceased), Uncle Mark, Mother Patt, and Father Glenn. he continued to race semi-pro motorcross, owned and drove a modified midget, or wrenched on a sprint car, ] until shortly after the birth of his first child, Allison. He had hoped his son Dylan would start racing this summer. Anyone who met Sean thought the world of him, and would say he was a hard worker, and a good friend. Forever a Champion to those that loved him. Sean is survived by the loves of his life: Tavia (Olsen) Ladd, children Allison M. Ladd and Dylan C. Ladd. Forever remembered by mother Patt (Thornton) Ladd, sister Kimberly (David) Wells, maternal grandmother Beverly A. Thornton, paternal grandmother Jewel Ladd-Simmons (deceased), second paternal grandma Jean Ladd, second mom Karen Ladd with sisters Angela (Dusty) Leavell, Britany Mulhern. Uncles Michael (Janet) Thornton, Mark (Kate) Thornton, Aunt Belinda Ladd-Persons, numerous neices, nephews, and extended family spanning four generations. At Sean's request no services will be held; however, please join family and friendsfor an evening of his favorite pastime at Placerville Speedway, on June 22, 2013.
