LAMBERT, Ray L.
Born in San Francisco on 9-25-34 and died in Roseville on 9-12-2013. Son of deceased parents 'Mac' Lambert and 'Jackie' Lambert Zauner. Celebrated 60 years of marriage last month and now survived by wife, Shirley, daughter Angela Rae Emmans and son Ronald Ray Lambert plus 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was a graduate of Roseville High School, class of '52. He worked as a Telegrapher for then Southern Pacific Railroad and later as a Television Engineer at Ch. 12 in Chico, then Ch. 13 in Sacramento. Ray was a member of the Granite Bay Lions Club for many years and served as the Cabinet Secretary and again as Cabinet Treasurer in Lions District 4-C5. He continued his community service long after retirement. Ray with his wife travelled extensively by land and sea having visited all seven continents, loving each great adventure together.
