GARNICA, Joe Fredrick
Jan. 5, 1945 - Jan. 10, 2014
Joe F. Garnica, Age 69 the cornerstone of our Family, peacefully entered into Heaven from his home while surrounded by family who loved him dearly. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years Maria Garnica, children; Alfredo Garnica, Anthony Barraza, Sandy Garnica-Munoz and Tammy Sandoval. Joe is also survived by grandchildren; Mikayla Saffold, Natalia Saffold, Alena Garnica-Munoz, Kassandra Gonzalez, Joanna Gonzalez, Emilio Gonzalez, and Jr. Gonzalez.
Joe was born and raised in the Sacramento area where he raised his children. Joe worked various jobs throughout his lifetime and had an impeccable work ethic until his retirement.

Joe was a U.S. Marine, he instilled the discipline and good ethics acquired in the military throughout the remainder of his life, and passed them onto his children and grandchildren.
Joe loved to spend time with his family and BBQ in his backyard where he watched his children grow and thrive in life. Joe met any challenges throughout his lifetime head on and always overcame them and supported his family until the day he died.
The celebration of Joe's life will be as follows: Thursday, January 16 the Viewing and Mass 9:30-12:00pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church followed by a memorial reception, VFW at 905 Drever St., West Sacramento, 95691.
