Jeanine Rae
65, of Garden Valley, California, passed away on April 20, 2014.

She was born in Eureka, California. Jeanine graduated from El Dorado High School, Humboldt State University (B.A.) and CSU, Sacramento (M.A.). She married Steve 'Hawkeye' Hodges on June 12, 1971.

Jeanine was a teacher in the Gold Trail Unified School District for 37 years. Some of her interests were coaching Special Olympics, being active in Delta Kappa Gamma, and golfing with the Lady Niners.

She is survived by her husband, Steve; her children, Stesha and Douglass; her mother, Jane Ann Henderson; her sisters, Jocelyn and Jennifer Henderson; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, family and friends. She was predeceased by her father, John Henderson, and her daughter-in-law, Emily Matlack-Hodges.

An interment ceremony will be held on April 25, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Green Valley Mortuary in Cameron Park. A Celebration of Life will be held at a date and time to be determined later. Please check
