April, I've looked for you online for years, ever since Google and Facebook came into being. I am so sorry that we didn't keep in touch after Pittsburgh, way back in the late 1990s. You were a wonderful friend, and so beautiful, inside and out, so much fun, and truly unforgettable. The best of times.
I always have and always will keep you and Paul in my heart.

Met you when we were 8 and saw you on & off my entire life. You were always a joy to be around, and I'll always remember your easy-going nature and your concern for others. I can't even think of one instance of you being mad or selfish. You thought highly of me, and I still think very highly of you...

April and I were more than relatives, we were kindred spirits and I knew her well. She taught me a lot. There were unique conversations, spoken in private and funny stories shared out loud. I miss everything about her, her interesting mind, her radiant smile, those freckles, her love of animals, and her ability to give you the last of anything she owned. I'll see you again, embrace you tightly, and bask in your love. You are so loved April and our lives will never be the same because of your absence. I'll find a star and give it your name because you loved the stars. I'll look for you every night.

Aprils loss hit the family hard and sudden as it was not her time to go....But I will not let the tragedy of her death be my memory. My memories of April are of her sweet and happy Spirit. Her beauty was the definition of beauty within. Anyone could look at her and see how pretty she was, but to know her was to know true beauty. Until we see each other again....Lots of Love, Aunt Robin

I miss her and think of her every day. I always looked up to April, she was so independent, and strong. I have always thought of her as sister, growing up so close together. She had the best sense of humor, and always made me laugh, she brought out the best in me. It will be tough, but I will do my best to keep her spirit alive. I miss her more than words can say. All my love to my family. - Rachel

Aprils's first love was unquestionably Kayla. Her smile and eye's lit up when she talked about her. I have wonderful memories of April when she was just a little girl, just playing..laughing and having fun (that beautiful smile). Later, as a young lady with Robin and I being silly, just sitting around talking and laughing (that beautiful smile). Then when she came to visit PGH with Kayla she lit up with pride Everytime she talked about her.
In each of us they're threads that the life of April stitched, some of which have yet to reveal themselves to us, but they will. We are somehow different because of those threads.
This Angel got her wings....no-one can take our memories of you...your happy spirit and that beautiful smile....Love, Uncle Ken (Aunt Robin, Samantha and Courtney)

April's beautiful spirit is with me at all times and everywhere I go, her light guides me. I'll miss her forever, my heart aches but memories of good times together comfort me until we meet again on the other side.
