My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this time - although I didn't know her, she seemed to be a beautiful human being, and one who was taken much too soon.

Fusako Petrus is more than a neighbor. She is family. I've had the honor and pleasure of knowing this awesome and humble woman for over 50 years. My heart aches that she is no longer with us, but I can find joy, because of the many memories I have of living around her. I am so thankful of the time. Throughout my life she was there from time to time. The fond memories of a young child being sent to her house by my mom to borrow sugar, milk, butter, or when we used her freezer to store our frozen foods because we didn't have room in our small refrigerator. (Lol) The fun times of riding our bikes on her driveway, because she had a 2 car garage and ours was a single. And many memories of her watching me bounce around the neighborhood as a young teenager. The most cherished thoughts are as an adult, listening to her words of wisdom, as I laid both of my parents to rest. Fusako is such an awesome person, in so many ways. Her road has been traveled and now her journey is complete. Say hi to mom and pops for me. :) I will love you always and forevermore. NeeNee

Like others who never knew Mrs. Petrus, I have been touched by her and her life. I cry every time I see this lovely photo and wish someone was able to help her when she needed it the most. How fortunate her friends and family were to have known such an honorable soul.

I too never met this beautiful soul, but she certainly has touched the lives of many people in her community. For those who are her friends and loved ones, please know we all mourn with you. She will be remembered as a GOOD person and role model to many. God Bless Her.

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. (Psalms 116:15)
