ENGKABO, Lorraine Rosalan
Passed peacefully at 6:05pm Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Sutter General Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a brief but courageous bout with leukemia.

Lorraine was born April 26, 1934, in Rio Vista, CA to Anastacio and Cayatana Evangelista. and was a life long resident of Sacramento. She married her soul mate, Pastor S. Engkabo, Jr. of Stockton on May 17, 1953.

Lorraine is survived by her husband of 52 years, Pastor, four daughters Sherina (Doug) Paulsen of Orangevale, Renee Purcell of Little Rock, Arkansas, Shelly Engkabo and Chrissy Contreras of Sacramento and son Pastor Engkabo, III (Beatrice) of Davis, 15 wonderful grandchildren and 5 precious great grandchildren. Sisters Helen Paular and Victoria Item of Sacramento and brothers Demetri (Jim), Norman and Edward Evangelista of Sacramento, Alfredo Evangelesta of Tempe, AZ and Daniel Evangelista of Tulare.

Lorraine attended McClatchy HS and was a member of various Filipino Associations, American Legion and attended First Covenant Church.

The family invites you to attend a visitation from 2:00-6:00 pm on Sunday April 10 at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento and a funeral service at 11:00 am on Monday April 11 at First Covenant Church, 10933 Progress Court, Rancho Cordova. The family will hold a private interment. Remembrances may be made to the Sutter Cancer Center.

Lorraine was a beautiful and loving person. She will be missed.
