Judith A. ""Judy"" Whitcomb-Rhodes(1938 - 2013)

Kill Buck - Judith "Judy" A. Whitcomb-Rhodes, 75, of Kill Buck, died Sunday (Oct. 20, 2013), at the Pines Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Olean, surrounded by her loving family.
Born Jan. 15, 1938, in Salamanca, she was the daughter of the late Maynard and Lucille (George) Whitcomb.
She had been employed at Fisher Price in Holland, N.Y. prior to her retirement.She was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians, Wolf Clan.
Surviving are: a sister, Bernice Slocum, of Salamanca; a brother, Michael Whitcomb, of Kill Buck; two sister-in-laws, Carolyn Whitcomb, of Salamanca, and Marianne Whitcomb, of Olean; five nieces, Renee (Bruce) Abrams, Paula (Darryl) Slocum-Hammer, Alicia Slocum, Luanne (Kristen) Sledge-Whitcomb, all of Salamanca, and Jaimi Putzke,
of Florida; five nephews, Paul (Dolores) Whitcomb, Todd (Johnette) Whitcomb,
Darrin Whitcomb, all of Salamanca, Chad (Tina Taylor) Whitcomb, of Jamestown, Daniel (Nancy) Whitcomb, of Rochester; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and her loving dog, Mitzi.
Judy was predeceased by a brother, Paul Whitcomb, and a brother-in-law, Thomas Slocum.
Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca, N.Y. on Saturday (Oct. 26, 2013), from noon-2 p.p. when funeral and committal services will be held with Dennis Durfee, Hospice Chaplin, officiating.
Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, N.Y.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Friends of The Pines 2245 West State St., Olean, N.Y. 14760-1921.
