JAMESTOWN - Amy L. Redeye, 57, of 212½ Lakeview Ave., died Wednesday (June 24, 2015) at the Bradford (Pa.) Manor, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on Feb. 7, 1958, in Salamanca, she was the daughter of Corrine Dowdy Redeye of Steamburg and the late LaVerne Redeye.
Mrs. Redeye was a longtime manager at Highbanks Campground. She was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Turtle Clan. She enjoyed bingo and was a Buffalo Bills fan.
Surviving besides her mother are a daughter, Cassie (Larry) Ballard of Jamestown; a son, Lindsey (Tonya Rishell) Harrison of Celeron; four grandchildren, Sierra Rishell of Celeron, Jacob Harrison of Celeron, Erika Ballard of Jamestown and Michael Ballard of Jamestown; two sisters, Cathy (Kim Henning) Redeye of Salamanca and Maureen Redeye of Salamanca; a brother, Otto (Sally) Watt of Salamanca; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a grandbaby, "Baby Ballard"; and a brother, Darryl Redeye.
Funeral services were held this morning (Friday, June 26, 2015) at the family home. Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg.
