STEAMBURG - Mr. Charles J. Greene, 68, of 135 North Loop, died unexpectedly Saturday (Sept. 6, 2014) at his home.
Born on July 2, 1946, in Erie, Pa., he was the son of the late Adam and Delma Jimerson Greene.
Mr. Greene was employed as a project manager for Seneca Construction Management Corp.
He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Deer Clan.
He was a life member of the Coldspring Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a member of F&AM Lodge No. 359, Randolph; Carpenters Union Local No. 276, Cheektowaga, the H.O.G. He was a former member of the AIRVFD.
He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also loved to ride his Harley-Davidson.
Surviving are a son, David (Destiny Williams) Greene of Salamanca; two daughters, Carlee (Jesse Bomberry) Greene and Tande Greene, both of Steamburg; and their mother, Connie Greene; three grandchildren, Chayton Greene of Salamanca, Adeline Bomberry and Everlett Bomberry, both of Steamburg; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Judith Greene.
Friends may call at 2 p.m. Tuesday and all day Wednesday at the family home, 135 North Loop, Steamburg, F&AM Randolph Lodge No. 359 will hold a Masonic service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the family home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 11, 2014) in God's Missionary Church, Old Route 17, Jimersontown, with the Rev. Marvin Abrams, pastor of Jimersontown Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown.
