Mandeville, La. - We pause to commemorate the life of our loved one, Leo John Kervin, son of the late Leo John Kervin and Mary Margaret (Vaughn) Kervin and brother to Tom Kervin and Margaret (Kervin) Bowles. Kervin passed away at the age of 76, in Mandeville, on Monday (Nov. 18, 2013), of cardiac arrest.
Kervin was born Oct. 6, 1937, in Lackawanna. He graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a degree in accounting, his field of choice and one which he thoroughly enjoyed.
In his spare time, you could find him in church, on a golf course, watching a Gator game, playing with his dog, Lilly, or simply socializing with friends.
Kervin is survived by his son, Tim Kervin; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Kervin; grandsons, Brenden Kervin and Grayson Kervin; and ex-wife, Carolyn Kervin. He was predeceased by his son, Sean Michael Kervin, and wife, Francis Anne Alstadter Kervin.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., Friday (Nov. 29, 2013), with a Memorial Mass immediately following at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Mandeville, Louisiana. Arrangements have been entrusted to E.J. Fielding Funeral Home. Please sign the online guest book at ejfieldingfh.com.
