LITTLE VALLEY – Pauline D. Wagatha, 78, of Marks Road, passed away Friday (Sept. 21, 2012), at her home.
She was born Sept. 27, 1934, in Gowanda, the daughter of the late Donald and Clara (Peters) Pepperdine.
On July 3, 1954, in Cattaraugus, she married Robert L. Wagatha who predeceased her on Jan. 5, 2003.
Mrs. Wagatha was a retired fourth-sixth grade teacher in the Orchard Park Central School District.
She is survived by a son, Dale (Laurie) Wagatha of Little Valley and a daughter, Maleea (Don) Brooks of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by a brother, Melvin (Beverly) Pepperdine of Perry and two sisters, Ann (Rick) Mitchell of Rochester and Myrna Zelnic of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held at Liberty Cemetery in Cattaraugus, N.Y. Arrangements are under the direction of Mentley Funeral Home, Inc., 411 Rock City St., Little Valley, N.Y.
