CLERMONT, Fla. - John F. Coffey, 76, of Clermont, Fla. passed away Monday (April 1, 2013), at home.
Coffey was born on Oct. 4, 1936, in Salamanca, the son of John J. and Ida Coffey. He served in the U.S. Army and afterwards was a professional chef before retirement.
He is survived by his loving wife Shirley, whom he married in 1962; children, Robert (Kim) Coffey of Miami, Fla., Jeffery Coffey of Washington, Jacqueline (Michael) Porter of Westin, Fla. and Gregory (Karen) Coffey of Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Leonard Coffey of Bradford, Pa.; and grandchildren, Jessica, Kasey, Matthew, Alex and Daniel.
A celebration of Coffey's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday (April 5, 2013), at Becker Funeral Home.
