SPENCER - Ms. Angela Monique Dunlap, age 28, passed Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury; and Little Miss Da'Ja' Armoni Cathcart, age 10, passed Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury; and Little Miss Taliah Kelis Williams, age 8, passed Jan. 19, 2013, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem. All were of South Yadkin Avenue in Spencer.
Ms. Dunlap was born July 14, 1984, in Salisbury to Martha Robinson Dunlap of Salisbury and John Frank Dunlap Jr., East Spencer. She was a graduate of North Rowan High School and RCCC. She was employed at The Laurels of Salisbury. Those who preceded her in death were daughters Da'Ja' and Taliah Kelis Williams; grandparents Lovenia Boyd McCullough, Robert June Robinson and John Frank Dunlap Sr. Survivors are sons Javion Williams and Davion Williams, both of Spencer; brother John Dunlap III, Salisbury; sister Deanna Dunlap, Salisbury; grandparents Ernestine Dunlap, Salisbury; special niece and nephew Niaja Jasiyah Wilson; special friend Antonio Rhames.
Little Miss Da'Ja' Armoni Cathcart, age 10, was born Aug. 12, 2002, in Salisbury to Kentrell D. Cathcart and the late Angela M. Dunlap. She was a fifth-grade student at North Rowan Elementary School, where she was a cheerleader. She was also a cheerleader for YFL. Survivors are her father, Kentrell D. Cathcart (fiancee Carol M. Hancock); brothers Javion Williams, Davion Williams, Zymier Myers, Cody Hancock, Jalah Cathcart, all of Salisbury; sisters Jalah Cathcart, Kamiyah Cathcart, Jamie Miller, Kiya Hancock and Kapria White, all of Salisbury; grandparents Martha R. Dunlap, John Fr. Dunlap Jr., Catherine Cathcart, all of Salisbury; great-grandparents Ernestine Dunlap, J.W. "Clean" Cathcart Sr., all of Salisbury, and Ilene Brown, Tyler, Texas; and a host of cousins.
Little Miss Taliah Kelis Williams, age 8, was born July 29, 2004, in Salisbury to Larry Williams and the late Angela Dunlap. She was a third-grade student at North Rowan Elementary School. She attended Trinity Baptist Church, Cooleemee. Those who preceded her in death are her mother, Angela M. Dunlap; and sister Da'Ja' Cathcart. Survivors are father Larry Williams, Salisbury; brothers Javion Williams, Davion Williams and Baquarius Williams, all of Salisbury; grandparents Martha R. Dunlap, John F. Dunlap Jr., and Reba Williams, all of Salisbury, and Robert Williams, South Carolina; great-grandparents Ernestine Dunlap and Annie R. Cobb, all of Salisbury; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins.
Joint Services: Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. and visitation 2 p.m. at Varick Auditorium, Livingstone College Campus, with Elder Richard Johnson, pastor, Hall's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Rowan Memorial Park, MLK section.
