SALISBURY - Ms. Cynthia Denise "Neese" Gaither Parks, 56, passed away on Tuesday, Feb 5, 2013.

Born Sept 6, 1956 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of Lillian Jean Harlow Gaither of Cleveland and the late David Guy. She attended West Rowan High School and was employed for the last 10 years as an in home caregiver.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lewis and Sophia Crawford Gaither; son, Cory Don Lyles; brother, Christopher Demond Gaither; and grandson, Myhkel David Tre'von Laterrias.

She is survived by daughters, Latasha Michelle Parks, Salisbury and Sekina Montrece Parks Singleton (Quincy), San Antonio, Tex.; mother, Lillian Jean Harlow Gaither, Cleveland; grandchildren, Franklin Leon Gillespie, III and Zhaurez A'Kir Gillespie, both of Salisbury, Asuntia La'Aysa Singleton and Artis Ernesto Singleton, both of San Antonio, Tex.; brothers, Thomas Lewis Gaither (Darlene), Cleveland, David Guy (Tahishia), Charlotte, Ricky Keith gaither, Cleveland, Charles White, York, S.C., Efrem Pernell Gaither (Sarah), Mocksville and Gregory Wendell Gaither, Cleveland; sisters, Carla Gaither Hairston (Herbert), Salisbury, Lisa Gaither, Salisbury, Ola Mae Caldwell, Rock Hill, S.C. and Josephine Collins, Charlotte; aunts; uncles; a host of nieces and nephews as well as special people, Franklin Gillespie, Jr, Henrietta & Eddie Turner, Kimberly Brawley and Lenora Angle.

Service & Visitation: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb 12, 2013 at the A.R. Kelsey Memorial Chapel, Noble and Kelsey Funeral Home, Inc., Visitation at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
