Ginger Hurlocker Phillips

GOLD HILLS - Ginger Hurlocker Phillips, 53, of Gold Hill, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 at her residence.

She was born June 18, 1959 in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Hubert M. Soloman and Virginia Nance Soloman.

Ginger attended Albemarle schools and worked as a bartender all her life. She was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her death were her parents, Hubert M. Soloman and Virginia Nance Soloman.

Those left to cherish her memories are boyfriend, "Toby" Fleming of Gold Hill; son, Eric Seawell of Salisbury; daughter, Joann Seawell and Fred Mishak of Richfield; brother, Michael and wife Teresa Hurlocker of Oakboro; sisters, Bobbie Lynn Williams and husband Tim of Albemarle, Cindy and Dan Haraczy of Myrtly Beach, S.C., Debbie Smalls and Randy of Albemarle and Donna Mullis of Albemarle; grandchildren, Destiny Brown, Hallie Mishak and Matthew Mishak and best friend, Shannon Earnhardt.

Service: A benefit will be held at the daughter's house on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012.
