Juanita Trexler Buchta

MIDLAND - Juanita Devada Trexler Buchta, 84, of 13204 Peppercorn Lane, died Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews.

Born November 20, 1923, in Lexington, N.C., Mrs. Buchta was a daughter of the late William Wakefield Trexler and Mary Sue (Wilson) Trexler. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Brewer, and a brother, Elmer Trexler.

Surviving are her husband, Frederick Buchta of Midland; son Robert Pearson of Charlotte; daughters Barbara House and husband Lamar of Gastonia and Shirley Bradley and husband Dr. Terry "Skip" Bradley of Cramerton; sisters Sadie Tutteron of Salisbury, Delores Younts and husband Zan and Mary Gray, both of Lexington; brother Bob Trexler and wife Evelyn of Mocksville; sister-in-law Irene Trexler of Lexington; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 10-11 a.m. Saturday, March 1 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland.

Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1 at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland with the Rev. Neil Crowell officiating.
