CLEVELAND - Bob Moseley, a long-time resident of 2445 Umberger Road, died Saturday the 2nd of March 2013, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Born in 1926 in Charlotte, Bob served in the U.S. Navy
and graduated from Charlotte College afterwards. He worked in purchasing for Boeing parts and later worked 26 years as a systems administrator for General Time in Davidson before retiring.
He started a part-time family business that for the last eight years has supplied military parts.
Bob was an avid cattleman and woodcutter, who also loved growing elephant garlic, watching sports and playing tennis. He attended New Perth ARP Church in Troutman with his loving wife of 57 years, Annie Clark Moseley.
He was a wise and patient man, devout Christian and lover of all children.
At Bob's request, his body was donated to Wake Forest Medical School.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Lola Moseley, and two brothers, Donald and Hubert.
Left to cherish memories of him are his wife, Annie Moseley; one son, Gary Moseley and wife Jo Anna of Cleveland; three daughters, Pam Myers of Cleveland, Trudy Pilcher and husband Mark of PonteVedra, Fla., Jane Doll and husband Mark of Cleveland; two sisters, Jean Canady of Charlotte and Marie Broughton of Branson, Mo.; and eight wonderful grandchildren, Evan and Kimber Myers, Josh Moseley and wife Tracy, Hannah Moseley, Will Moseley, Laban and Isaac Pilcher and Joseph Doll.
Memorial Service: 3 p.m. Monday, March 4 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 300 Clearview Drive, Cleveland, NC 27013. A visitation will follow the service.
