Sharod Raheen Mathis

Mr. Sharod Raheen Mathis, 22, passed away Sunday Dec. 4, 2016 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. Born March 6, 1994 in Rowan County to Melson Mathis and Shakai Humphires and reared by Mark and Tiffany Rushmeyer, Mr. Mathis attended North Rowan High School and was last employed withPerdue Poultry Farms. He was preceeded in death by grandparents, Samuel (Inez) Cassell and Alfonzo Mathis (Simone), and grandfather, Pete Wilson. He leaves precious and loving memories to his children, Camaurion Canon (Bubba) and Demarea (Mari) Lewis, both of Salisbury; sisters, Diera Mathis, Aisha Mathis and Tanajah Robinson and Tarajea Rushmeyer, all of Salisbury, Olivia Stinson of Statesville and Breyonna Johnson of Charlotte; brothers, Bryan Humphries of Charlotte, Marquise Lipscomb of New York, Nasir Skidmore of New York, Keyon Rice of Kannapolis and Tyquarious Corpening, Tysair Mathis, Tyvonta Rushmeyer and Tyvair Rushmeyer, all of Salisbury; paternal grandmother, Carol Mathis of Salisbury; maternal grandmother, Cecilia (Larry) Jones of Salisbury; grandfather, Barry (Cynthia) Cassell; significant other, Kadrina Simpson of Salisbury; one neice, London Humphries; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Arrangements: Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016 at Love Christian Center, East Spencer.
