Mrs. Catherine Diane Johnson Harris, 62, departed this earthly life on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Novant Health Rowan Regional Medical Center. Born Aug. 18, 1955 in Davie County to the late George Johnson Sr. and Lucille Wood Johnson, Mrs. Harris was educated in the public schools of Davie County and was a graduate of Davie County High School. She attended Rowan Cabarrus Community College and retired from PPG Industries in Lexington after 29 years of service. She was a member of Erwin Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Cooleemee. She was affectionately known as Diane to many and had a loving and gracious smile for everyone she came in contact with. In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by brothers, George Johnson Jr. and Theodore Johnson. She leaves precious and loving memories to her husband, Dana “Danny” Harris of the home; sons, Micah Harris, of Mocksville and Mario Harris (Rashanda) of Greensboro; daughter, Neeco Harris of High Point; sister, Theodosia “Tennie” Johnson of Cooleemee; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; and friends. Arrangements: Services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Erwin Temple CME Church, Cooleemee. Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. with funeral at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Erwin Temple Church Cemetery. Rev. Ervin L. Hannah, Pastor, will officiate.
