Bill was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and earlier at St. Francis of Assisi in Raleigh, where he was married and Cecile and Gabrielle were baptized. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Marcum; aunt, Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Kountz; brother-in-law, Vernon Christopher “Chris” Pinkston. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ashley Pinkston Marcum, whom he married on December 3, 2005; son, Robert Allen Marcum of Lancaster, PA; daughters, Erin Marie Marcum of Louisville, KY, Charlotte Cecile Marcum of Salisbury, Gabrielle Brynn Marcum of Salisbury; sister, Kathleen M.
