Deborah Hamilton Brown

SALISBURY - Mrs. Deborah Jean Hamilton Brown, age 53, of South Ellis Street, passed Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 18, 1959, to the late Walter Eugene and Carrie Mae Holcomb Hamilton. She attended East Rowan High School and previously worked at the N.C. Veterans Home.

Survivors are her husband, Terry Brown, Sr. of the home; sons Terry Brown, Jr. and Shante Brown, both of the home; daughters Carrie Brown, Teresa Brown and Sharnce Brown, all of Salisbury; brothers Walter Eugene Hamilton, Jr. (Eleanor), Timothy Hamilton (Kimberly) and Christopher Hamilton, all of Salisbury; sisters Renita Hamilton Craig (Clarence Eugene), Nettie Hamilton, Patsy Hamilton and Packita Hamilton, all of Salisbury, and Connie Hamilton, Granite Quarry; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Service and Visitation: Funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. and visitation at 2:30 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Paul Jones, officiating. Burial will be in the U.S. National Cemetery.
