Dolores Uy Ancheta CHINA GROVE - Dolores Uy Ancheta, 88, of 1021 Blue Jay Lane, originally from the Philippines, died Monday, March 13, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born Sept. 18, 1917, in the Philippines, Mrs. Ancheta was the daughter of the late Carmen Golfin Uy and Francisco Uy. A homemaker, she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Salisbury; the Altar Ladies of the church, Catholic Women 's League, Catholic Charities and Parrish Council, all in the Philippines. She was also a member of the Cursillo. Her husband, Vicente Ancheta, preceded her in death on May 5, 1968. Survivors include sons Rolando Ancheta, Enrique Ancheta and wife Darla and Vicente Ancheta and wife Lucilita, all of Salisbury; daughters Corazon Campbell and husband Frank of Lake City, Fla., Carmen Santos and husband Eduardo of the Philippines and Leticia Earnhardt and husband Ron of China Grove; grandchildren Rachel, Eunice, Robert, Elia, Elena, Victor, Christa, Victoria, Rebecca, Michael and Jacob; and great-grandchildren Alyssa and Elijah. Services and visitation : A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Summersett Funeral Home with a visitation following from 7-8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Salisbury. Burial will be at Rowan Memorial Park. Memorials : Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 128 N. Fulton St., Salisbury, NC 28144.
