Donald Meade Bullins

SALISBURY - Mr. Donald Meade Bullins, 70, of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks.

Born Aug. 13, 1942, in Rowan County to the late Janie Lee Linebarger Bullins and Cleveland Earnest Bullins, he attended Rowan County schools. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball for St. Paul's and basketball at the YMCA.

Mr. Bullins was an avid NASCAR fan and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Meade Bullins Jr.

Surviving are his daughter, Wendy Fontenot and husband Allan of China Grove; brother, Baxter (Junior) Linebarger and wife Francis of Salisbury; grandson Clint Allan Fontenot; great-grandson Hunter Alan Goodman; and ex-wife and longtime caregiver, Brenda Pate.

Service: A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday (Nov. 16) at City Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Steve Wilson.

At other times, the family will be at the home of Wendy and Allen Fontenot in China Grove.
