Elizabeth 'Betsy' Goodman

GOLD HILL - Elizabeth "Betsy" Harris Goodman, 65, of Gold Hill, went to be with the Lord Tuesday Feb. 19, 2013, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Born June 27, 1947 in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late M.O. Harris II and Mary Junker Harris.
Betsy worked at Cannon Mills before retiring. She loved being outdoors and riding horses, doing crafts, being with family and in earlier years working side by side with her husband, Ray.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by step-sons Randy Goodman, Alan Goodman and Gary Goodman.
Those left to cherish her memory are husband, H. Ray Goodman of Gold Hill; step-son, Larry Goodman of Salisbury; step-grandchildren, Brian Goodman, Amanda Evans, Carrie Moose, Kevin Goodman, Cindy Alley, Larry Goodman, Jr. and Tonya Goodman; brother, M.O. Harris III of Concord; five step-great-grandchildren; and many loving and helpful friends.
Visitation and Service: 3-4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at Tri-County Cowboy Church with funeral service following at 4 p.m.

The family would like to thank Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis for the care during her declining health.
