Franklin Orson Dodge, 97, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, at the Laurels of Salisbury. Born Jan. 30, 1921 in Springfield, Mass., he was the son of the late Addison Dodge and Martha Brown Dodge. He was educated in the Springfield, Mass., schools and attended Bay Path Business School in Longmeadow, Mass. Mr. Dodge was a veteran of the U S Navy during World War II. Before retiring he was a Purchasing Agent for Rexnord for 44 years. He was a member of Belin Methodist Church, Murrells Inlet, S.C., and the VFW. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 75 years, Mary Wood Dodge; his children, Susan Dula and husband John of Vergennes, Vt., Thomas Dodge and wife Linda of Salisbury and Elizabeth Kuc and husband Thomas of Wilbraham, Mass.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren also survive him.
