James 'Dillon' Logan

SALISBURY - James "Dillon" Logan, 18, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday , Oct. 4, 2012.

Dillon was born July 19, 1994, in Salisbury, son of James Ray Logan and Donna Gentry Logan. Dillon attended East Rowan High School and worked for Rock Bottom Saloon. He enjoyed playing pool, basketball and football and all things outdoors.

Dillon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter Logan and E.J. and Almarie Gentry.

In addition to his parents, Dillon is survived by sisters Crystal Jessup and husband Joe of New London, Dawn Jones of New London and Julie Logan of Salisbury; paternal grandmother Julie Logan of Faith; aunts and uncles Michael Ray Logan, Danny Lee Logan, Diana Sue Gentry, Freddie Gentry and wife Susie, Mike Gentry, Jimmy Gentry and wife Robin and Janie Smith and husband Jeff; one niece; one nephew; and numerous cousins.

Service: There will be a Graveside Service Wednesday Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. at Brookhill Memorial Gardens in Rockwell conducted by Rev. Chris Williams, pastor of Woodleaf Baptist Church.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at Powles Funeral Home Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
