SALISBURY - Mr. Jeffrey Scott Belk, 41, of Salisbury, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Jeffrey was born Aug. 29, 1971, in Rowan County, a son of Sarah Blackwell Belk of Salisbury and the late Clyde Richard Belk, Sr.
Jeffrey attended East Rowan High School and had worked for Reform Products as warehouse manager. An avid fisherman, NASCAR racing fan and Pittsburgh Steeler fan, Jeffrey enjoyed these activities with family and friends.
In addition to his mother, survivors include two sons, Wendell Scott Belk and girlfriend Jennifer Fraley of Gold Hill and Branson River Belk of Salisbury; four brothers, James E. Belk and wife Robin of Salisbury, Robin E. Belk of Salisbury, Richard Todd Belk and wife Stephanie of Salisbury and half brother Clyde R. Belk, Jr., of Granite Falls, S.C.; five nephews; and one niece.
Service: A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at his mother's home, conducted by Rev. Charles Carver, pastor of West Park Baptist Church.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Park Baptist Church, 715 W. Park Drive, Rockwell, NC 28138.
