Judy Stafford Fargo

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Judy Stafford Fargo was granted her Angel wings on May 11, 2012. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched throughout her very memorable life.

Judy was born in Gainesboro, Tenn. on Dec. 14, 1941. The daughter of the late Zollie & Annie Mae Stafford.

Though her life seemed short to those who loved her she lived it with a grace, compassion and love for her family that exceeded all bounds. Her determined spirit and positive attitude were traits that will always be remembered by her family, friends and church. She gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. Although she was an amazing wife, sister, aunt & friend, there are no words to express the magnitude of her dedication, devotion and love to her greatest calling - that of being a mother.

She is preceded in death by her two beloved brothers Donald Stafford and Billy Stafford of Tennessee.

She is survived by her husband Jackie Fargo; her daughter Brandy McKinney (husband Greg) of Salisbury; sisters Elizabeth Cheek, Bobbie Marler & Debbie Stafford of Tennessee and step-daughters Charlotte Fargo Jacobs of Tennessee and Jackie Mae Jacobs of California.

Service: The celebration of Judy's life will be held on Monday, May 14th, 7 p.m. at Truth Temple Church conducted by her beloved Pastor, Garland Faw.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the following: Truth Temple, PO Box 82, Landis, NC 28088 or Rowan County Rescue Squad, PO Box 61, Salisbury, NC 28145

The family would like to thank Alive Hospice Care in Nashville, Tenn. for the love and compassionate care shown to Judy and her entire family.
