ENOCHVILLE - Mildred G. Bost of Enochville, went home to be with her Lord and reunited with her loving husband on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at her residence.
Born on May 29, 1924 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late William P. Goodson and Emma Goodman Goodson. Educated in the Rowan County schools, she was a longtime active member of North Kannapolis Baptist Church. She retried from Electric Wholesale in sales and secretarial.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters; five brothers; and her husband of 38 years, Junious Bost.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Carol Nixon (Tommy) of Catawba, Teresa Bost Cline (Ken) of Salisbury, Tamala Bost McCall (Randy) of Sherrills Ford and Brenda Bost Trott (Scott) of Kannapolis; and sons, Rae Parks (Kay) of Kannapolis, Barry Parks (Jane) of Salisbury and Tim Bost (Linda) of Salisbury. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation&Service:Visitation will be on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in Landis. Funeral will follow at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home, with Rev. Chris O'Guin minister.
