ADANA, Turkey - Mrs. Pamela Dawn Scott (Crowell), 30 of Adana, Turkey, formally of Rowan County, passed away on Sept. 11, 2012 due to complications after surgery.
Mrs. Scott was born Aug. 24, 1982 in Rowan County, daughter of Mrs. Jeanette Rowland Hewitt and step-father Mr. Chuck Hewitt of Salisbury and Mr. William Randy Crowell and step-mother Semone Brisson of Granite Quarry.
Mrs. Scott was a 2000 graduate of South Rowan High School, a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a home maker. Mrs. Scott was of the Baptist Faith and was active at her church in Turkey.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scott is survived by her husband, First Lieutenant James Donald Scott, Jr. whom she married on May 9, 2003; sons, Grayson Scott, Aden Scott, Duncan Scott; daughter, Madelyn Scott of the home; step-son, Rian Scott of Portland, Ore.; brothers, Donny Crowell of Taylorsville; sister, Sheri Crowell and boyfriend KyJuan Beatty of Mooresville; three step-brothers, Ted Hewitt of Salisbury, Spencer Brisson and Michael Brisson of Granite Quarry; step-sister, Michelle Brisson of Granite Quarry; grandmother, Josephine Rowland of Gold Hill; one niece, Kamea Crowell and one nephew, Isziah Crowell.
Service: The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Rockwell, conducted by Rev. David Smith of Mooresville. Military Honors will be conducted by the US Air Force.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church of Rockwell on Saturday from 9-11 a.m. and will be at the home of her Mother, Jeanette Hewitt the remainder of the time.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pamela Crowell Scott Memorial Fund, Paducah Bank, c/o Daniel Avery P.O. Box 2600 Paducah KY 42002-2600.
