STANFIELD - Thomas "Tommy" Ray Adcock, 54, of Stanfield, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 as a result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born Dec. 9, 1958 in Rowan County, the son of the late John Henry Adcock and Sarah Catherine Benton Adcock.
Tommy was a 1976 graduate of South Rowan High School. He was a Millwright by trade and also worked in the electronic field. He loved motorcycles and never met a stranger. He was a loving brother, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by nephew Sean Robert Noseworthy and grandparents Carmen and Tracy Benton, Fannie and Henry Adcock.
Those left to cherish his memories are son, Ryan Adcock of Salisbury; daughter, Chasity (Chris) Morgan of Salisbury; brother, Joseph (Pamela) Adcock of Salisbury; sisters, Sara Adcock (Donald) Rhodes of Stanfield and Mary (Charlie) Owen of Salisbury; grandchildren, Mya Morgan, Hailey Morgan, Sky Morgan, Payton Adcock and Sean Adcock; nieces, Megan Williams, Wynne Adcock, Candy Kizer and nephew, Adam Noseworthy.
Visitation and Services: Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 at Haven Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 207 W. Harrison St., Salisbury, NC 28147. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 at Haven Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall Church with the Dr. Don Vess officiating. Burial will follow at City Memorial Park.
