Mrs. Wanda Ann McKamey Ketchie, 68, of Woodleaf, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. Born Dec. 10, 1949 in Hamilton County, Tenn., Mrs. Ketchie was a daughter of the late Paris Robert McKamey Sr. and Evelyn Clark McKamey. Mrs. Ketchie was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at Medical Associates of Davie. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle where she was active in the church choir, church nursery and the Children's Evangelism Fellowship. She was also a member of the Patriot Guard. Mrs. Ketchie is survived by her husband, Larry Dean Ketchie of Woodleaf; son, Jerry Scott Gentry of Woodleaf; step-son, Kevin Scott Ketchie and wife Loraine of Salisbury; step-daughter, Christy Lynn Martin and husband Todd of Lexington; brothers, Bobby McKamey and wife Penny of Milton, Fla. and Jeffrey McKamey of Pensacola, Fla.; sister, Vicki Richburg and husband Billy of Six Mile, S.C.; half-sister, Pam Behringer of Tampa, Fla.; her grandchildren, Brandon and wife Kerrie, Christopher, Raven, Alex, Madi, Luke, Justin and Gage; her best friend, Sandy Morrison; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation: The family will receive friends at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Service: The funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle Church on Friday, July 13 at 11:30 a.m., conducted by Pastor Steve Holshouser.
