William D. Bradley Jr.

LANDIS - Mr. William D. Bradley Jr., 66, of Landis, passed away on Oct. 10, 2013 at CMC Northeast.

Born on Apr. 7, 1947 in Augusta, Ga. he was the son of the late William D. Bradley Sr. and Evelyn Hamilton Bradley.

Educated in the Georgia schools, he attended First Freewill Baptist Church in China Grove. Mr. Hamilton served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, receiving the Purple Heart Medal. His work was with Helping Hands Transport as a truck driver.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife Paula Chapman Bradley; daughter Samantha Peeler (David) of Salisbury and stepson Matt Alman (Mildred) of South Carolina. Also surviving him are his brothers; Ronnie Bradley (Jean), Kenny Bradley (Elaine) and Allen Bradley (Sandra) all of Salisbury and Walter Bradley (Jeanette) of Macon, Ga. His grandchildren are Tylor Pruett, Hannah Bradley, Kris and Aiden Peeler, and Jessica and Austin Mitchum.

Visitation and Services: Visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013 from 1-2 p.m. at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in Landis, with funeral following at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Mark Murphy, minister, officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
