June Darius Hurst
SALISBURY - June Darius Hurst (J.D.). Service: Memorial service will be held for the recently deceased Mr. Hurst at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m.
Visitation: After a brief memorial service the family will receive friends.
Mr. Hurst opened a law practice in 1958 in Kannapolis and later moved his practice to his home on Webb Road in Salisbury where he practiced until 2007.
Mr. Hurst graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1950 and the UNC School of Law in 1955. Continuing his loyalty to the university, Mr. Hurst bequeathed his body to the UNC medical school for the purpose of medical research and training.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers and in memory of Mr. Hurst's life of service, the family requests that donations be made to the Legal Aid of North Carolina Endowment Fund, c/o N.C.
