Pauline H. Freeze

CHINA GROVE - Pauline Ruth Honbarger Freeze, 93, passed away Thursday evening, May 29, 2014, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born Dec. 19, 1921, in Iredell County, Pauline was a daughter of the late Jessie Alexander and Janie Smith Honbarger.

Mrs. Freeze retired after 25 years of faithful service from Linn-Corriher Mills and was a longtime member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde B. Freeze, on Aug. 14, 1993.

Family members left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Shirley Freeze Corriher and husband James and Carolyn Freeze Schenck and husband Edward, all of China Grove; her brothers, Carl and Norman Honbarger; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Arrangements: The family will receive friends Sunday, June 1, from 2-3 p.m. at Oak Grove United Methodist Church. Funeral services to remember and celebrate her life will begin at 3 p.m. in the church, conducted by Rev. Charles Gibbons, pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorials: May be made to Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Cemetery Fund, 4820 W. NC 152 Hwy., China Grove, NC 28023.
