Edna W. Weaver

SALISBURY - Mrs. Edna Winders Weaver, 77, of Salisbury, passed away on Saturday June 21, 2014, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

Edna was born May 17, 1937, in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Monk Winders and Carrie Bringle Winders. She attended Boyden High School in Salisbury.

She had worked for Cannon Mills, was a homemaker and was a member of The First Baptist Church of Rockwell.

In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Brown Weaver Sr.

Survivors include son Vernon B. Weaver Jr. of Salisbury; daughter Andre Seaford of Rockwell; sisters Mildred Chamberlain of China Grove and Rachel Earnhardt of Salisbury; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Arrangements: A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 25 at Brookhill Memorial Gardens, Rockwell, conducted by Rev. Matthew Laughter, pastor of The First Baptist Church of Rockwell.
