Deborah Newcomb-Burke

WOODLEAF - Deborah A. Newcomb-Burke, 60, of Woodleaf, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.

She was born Feb. 7, 1954, at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, Calif., to James and Leah (Weatherby) Newcomb.

Deb was the Worthy Matron of Clemmons Chapter 373 Order of the Eastern Star from 2004-2005. She was an accomplished Information Technology consultant and IT director at several N.C. Piedmont companies.

Deb enjoyed reading and listening to classical music.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Alan of Woodleaf; sister Tracey Rosato (Joe) and nephew Alex of Cortland, N.Y.; son Richard (Christine) grandchildren Chase, Grant and Taylor of Fallson, Md.; step-children Alan Jr., Katy, Nathan and Peter (Kristin), all of Rochester, N.Y.; and special friends Bob and Jules Medefindt of Kernersville.
