SALISBURY - Beulah Marie Kluttz Hoffner, 98, of Salisbury, passed away on Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, at Genesis Eldercare.
She was born Feb. 8, 1916, in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Bessie Lyerly and David L. Kluttz. Beulah retired from NC Finishing Company.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, companion and friend and will be missed but not forgotten.
In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her husband, Albert O. Hoffner, who passed away Dec. 22, 2003; brother Lamar Kluttz; and sisters Pearl Kepley, Blanche Bogle and Mary Hoffner.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Larry Hoffner (Teresa) of Lexington, Gene Hoffner (Carolyn) of China Grove and Kenneth Hoffner (Karen) of Ohio; brothers Jed Kluttz (Irene) of Concord and Arnold Kluttz (Lucille) of Woodleaf; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and special companion Kenneth Barnes.
Visitation: 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at Bethel United Methodist Church, 2380 Long Ferry Road, Salisbury, NC 28146.
Service: 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14 at Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Sherry Barnes officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
