MOCKSVILLE - Brandon Andrew Kidd, 22, of Will Boone Road, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012.
Born in Richmond, Va., on May 21, 1989, he was the son of George Elwood Kidd of Mocksville and Linda Marshall (Terry) McDaniel, also of Mocksville. Employed at Taco Bell, he was a member of First Baptist Church of Rockwell.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Carlton Wayne Marshall of Jamestown, N.Y.; two step-sisters, Melissa (Troy) Dobbins of Cooleemee and Teri Lynn McDaniel of East Bend; special friend Sabrina Quillin; and special little girl Reagan Makenze Quillin.
He is also survived by the families of Uncle Lawrence Rao, wife Susan, daughter Teresa, and son David; families of Uncle Ronald Rao, wife Claire, daughters, Heather, Jennifer, Casey and Karolyn; families of Aunt Linda Rao, daughter Michele, and son Robert; families of cousins Cynthia Whorley and James (Eddie) Mitchen; maternal grandparents Judy Kimble, Chester, Va., Wayne Kimble, Colonial Heights, Va., and Colene Williams, Salisbury; uncles Michael (Linda) Kimble, Beaver Dam, Va., Donald (Gail) Kimble, Statesville, Scott (Melissa) Kimble, Prince George, Va., James (June) Kimble, Chester, Va., Chardise (Robert) Honeycutt, and Eddie (Joy) McDaniel, all of Salisbury; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by brother Robert Christopher Marshall; and grandfather Yank McDaniel.
Service: A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, March 1 at 11 a.m. in Davie Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Matthew Laughter officiating. Burial will be in the First Baptist Church of Rockwell Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday, Feb. 29 at the funeral home.
