Patsy Joanne Honeycutt

MOORESVILLE - Patsy Joanne Honeycutt, 81, of Mooresville, went to be with the Lord Friday, Feb. 22, 2013.

Miss Honeycutt was born on July 6, 1931 in Iredell County, to the late Barney and Madge Sherrill Honeycutt.

She was a graduate of Mooresville High School and attended Mitchell College. Patsy retired from EI Dupont, Charlotte, after 40 years of service as an administrative assistant. She was a current member of Vanderburg United Methodist Church, Mooresville, and was a previous member of Knox Chapel United Methodist Church where she served as a pianist.

Patsy is survived by several cousins. During her illness she was residing with her friends Gene and Terry Gilliland.

Visitation and Services: The service celebrating Patsy's life will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 at Vanderburg United Methodist Church. Burial will follow the service at Vanderburg Blue Door Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Gene and Terry would like to say a special thank you to Patsy's special friends, Annette Waltrop, Christine Osborne, Nancy McLean, Jackie Schronce and Joan Harwell, as well as the caregivers that helped us with her care. Miss Patsy was such a special lady in our lives and will truly be missed by our family.
