SALISBURY - Francis Lynn Cauble, 88, of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the Magnolia Gardens Nursing Home after several years of declining health.
Born April 6, 1924, in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Charlie Lynn Cauble and Ethel Harrison Cauble.
Mr. Cauble is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Louise Jacobs Cauble; daughters Susan Stone (Bob) of Salisbury, Kathy Cauble of Salisbury and Carol Lopp (Fred) of Lawrenceville, Ga.; grandson Robert Neal Stone of Centreville, Va.; granddaughter Christy Stone Bell (Sterrett) of Asheville; and great-grandson Sterrett Neal Bell.
Mr. Cauble retired as a mechanic for Duke Power Company. He was a member of Saint Mark's Lutheran Church and a retired fireman for Locke Township Volunteer Fire Dept.
Mr. Cauble was educated in Rowan County schools and graduated from China Grove High School.
Visitation and Service: The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Saturday (March 16) at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. A funeral service will be conducted following visitation at the church at 11 a.m. Pastor Clarence Sifford, minister of Saint Mark's Lutheran Church will be officiating.
