Sonya H. Roseman

SALISBURY - Sonya Renee Horton Roseman, 58, of Salisbury, went to her heavenly home on July 4, 2013, as the result of injuries from a watercraft accident on June 30, 2013.

She was born Aug. 14, 1954, in Iredell County.

Mrs. Roseman served a tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps, followed by three years as a marine reservist. By profession, she was a Registered Nurse prior to her retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Steven Roseman, of the home; her beloved son, Dominique N. Roseman; her parents, Marlene and Clarence Horton of Kannapolis; a stepson, Micah Roseman, and stepdaughter Emily Roseman; one brother, Michael L. McRorie (Cathy); two sisters, Gina M. McRorie of Oakboro and Jennifer H. Wike (Kevin) of Kannapolis.

Service: A private memorial service for the family was held Monday, July 8 at Haven Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, the Rev. Wec Judy officiating.
