Marcus worked for the family business building drawer boxes with his father and brother. He was a volunteer firefighter, avid Panther's fan, a member at Cleveland Believer's Fellowship, part of a prison ministry choir, and deeply in love with his beautiful wife and unborn son.
He was born on Aug. 6, 1988, in Garrett County, Md.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Darius Anthony and Justin Eric; as well as his aunt, Mary Nissley; and grandparents Elmer and Martha Hostetler.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Yoder) Kauffman, and unborn son; his parents, David and Linda Kauffman of Woodleaf; two sisters, Yolanda and Cheryl; two brothers, Brian and Josiah, all residing in Woodleaf; and his grandparents, Abe and Ella Kauffman.
Marcus leaves behind a gaping hole in our hearts, but we look forward to the day when we will be reunited and wrapped once again in his tight hug.
